Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-15 · Effective: 2026-08-15

Pavloria collects no personal data, and your photographs never leave your device. The sections below say exactly what that means, because a claim like that is worth nothing unless it is spelled out.

What we collect

Nothing. Pavloria has no account, no sign-in and no server. We operate no backend of any kind, so there is no place for your data to arrive at even if we wanted it.

We do not collect your name, your email address, your device identifiers, your location, your usage, or any identifier used for tracking. We run no analytics and no crash-reporting service, and the app contains no third-party software development kits.

Your photographs

The photographs you choose are read on your device, processed on your device, and written to the folder you choose on your device. They are not uploaded, not sent to any service of ours or anyone else's, and not used to train anything.

The background removal runs entirely on the device's own hardware, using the operating system's built-in image analysis. No image data is sent to Apple or to us for that, and no network connection is needed for it. You can verify this by turning on Airplane Mode: the app works exactly as it does otherwise.

What the app stores on your device

Your finished batches are saved locally so you can run the same settings again — the batch name, the output size, the file-naming stem, the export format and small preview thumbnails. This stays on your device, is included in your own device backup if you use one, and is deleted with the app.

Your preferences (appearance, export format and quality) are stored locally in the same way. A record of whether you have unlocked unlimited exports, and of how many free exports you have used, is kept in your device's keychain so that reinstalling the app does not reset it. None of this is transmitted anywhere.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your payment is handled by Apple; we never see your payment details, your name or your email address. We receive no personal data from Apple in connection with your purchase.

Apple's own handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy, at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. Restoring a purchase asks Apple whether the Apple Account signed in on the device already owns it; that exchange is between your device and Apple.

Third parties

Apple is the only company involved, and only in two roles: as the operator of the App Store and In-App Purchase, and as the provider of the operating system your device runs. We share your data with no one, because we hold none. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or any other purpose.

We share no user data with any third party. Apple, as the operator of the App Store and In-App Purchase and as the provider of the operating system, handles your purchase under its own privacy policy, which affords protections equal to or greater than those described here. There are no analytics providers, advertising networks, third-party SDKs, parent or subsidiary companies, or any other related entities with access to user data, because no user data exists to have access to.

How long it is kept, and how to delete it

We keep nothing, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Everything the app stores is on your own device and stays there until you remove it.

You can delete a saved batch from inside the app at any time by swiping it away in the Vault. Deleting the app removes everything at once — saved batches, thumbnails, preferences and the record of free exports used. Files you exported to a folder of your choosing are yours and are not touched by deleting the app.

There is no consent to withdraw, because nothing is collected and no permission is ever asked for. The photo picker runs outside the app and hands over only the images you select, so the app is never granted access to your photo library. If you want your purchase disassociated from your Apple Account, that is a matter for Apple, whose support can be reached at https://support.apple.com/.

Children

Pavloria is a tool for people who sell things they make or resell, and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection over personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you. These regulations apply to the processing of personal data, and this app performs none — so there is nothing for us to give you, correct or delete, and no request is needed to achieve it.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it, for advertising or for any other purpose. We have never done so and the app is built in a way that makes it impossible: there is no network code in it.

If you believe we hold something about you, write to us at the address below and we will answer.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the policy is updated in the same release, and the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no version of this app whose behaviour this page does not describe.
